Did Dr Jayalath Jayawardene meet LTTE men secretly in Oslo and in London?

(April 21, Oslo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Sources close to LTTE circles in Oslo and London confirm that opposition United National Party (UNP) parliamentarian Dr Jayalath Jayawardena had secret meetings with the LTTE men in London and Oslo. Dr Jayawardene specially flew to Oslo to participate in a conference organised for the LTTE. LTTE frontline activist Vaiko addressed the conference which was mainly attended by the Tamil Tiger sympathisers.
The controversial parliamentarian came under public scrutiny over his involvement with the LTTE on several issues including the corrupt deal he stuck with the LTTE to reconstruct the A9 road to the north with the funds provided by the Asian Development Bank during peace time in 2002/03.

It is now emerging that Dr Jayalath Jayawardene had secret meetings with the LTTE men in Oslo after the conference. Various issues have been discussed including soliciting support for his party if general election is called by the President. Dr Jayalath Jayawardena flew to London and stayed there for two days. According to LTTE sources there too he had met the LTTE men and had a lengthy discussion meeting.
