(December, 07, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) “We very strongly condemn the brutal act of the LTTE, for causing the death of 15 innocent civilians and seriously injuring 28 others by a claymore mine attack at Abimanapura targeting a passenger bus plying from Anuradhapura to Padavia on 05-12-2007. It is under -stood that a number of the injured admitted to the Anuradhapura hospital are in a serious condition. The highest number of casualties in a claymore mine attack targeting a bus by the LTTE took place, in the same area about 1 ½ years back. The people of this area are the weakest economically and they live in constant fear and tension,” said in statement jointly released by the leaders of the TULF, PLOTE and the EPRLF-Pathmanabha condemning the brutal killings of the LTTE on latest Claymore mine attack in Anuradhapura.
